Fast-Track Propulsion Delivery in a Time-Critical Programme

Towards the end of Q1 2026, a satellite mission provider and manufacturer of microsatellites approached ENPULSION with a request for 20 propulsion systems for an upcoming mission. The timeline was ambitious: all units had to be delivered by June, within just 12 weeks of the order being placed. For propulsion systems, where manufacturing, testing and qualification processes cannot simply be accelerated overnight, this was a demanding schedule.

To meet the deadline, ENPULSION worked closely with the customer from day one. Regular communication between the teams helped keep production, testing and delivery activities aligned with technical requirements. The propulsion systems were delivered in batches, allowing the customer to receive hardware as it became available rather than waiting for the entire order to be completed.

With the final batch now ready for collection, the project has been completed within the agreed schedule, with all 20 propulsion systems delivered on time. Meeting this requirement meant pushing production capacity to its limits over a relatively short period. ENPULSION achieved fast propulsion delivery while keeping all other customer deliveries and ongoing projects on track.

The project highlights ENPULSION's ability to respond quickly to time-critical customer requirements without compromising commitments elsewhere. It demonstrates the importance of industrial capabilities when it comes to delivery performance. The only way we could support the customer in this difficult situation was to leverage the strength of our ongoing recurring production of around 5 fully integrated propulsion systems per week. We were able to utilize material and long-lead-item stocks from a standing supply chain and shift production capacities to allocate them to the new requirement, while ensuring that no other customer deliveries were delayed. It also reflects ENPULSION's approach to customer partnerships: clear communication, reliable delivery, and a strong focus on getting the job done right.
