Job Overview
ENPULSION is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Working Student (f/m/x) to join our Mechanical Engineering Team working on space industry projects. The successful candidate will support the design, development, analysis, testing, documentation and 2D drawings of mechanical systems and components used in space applications.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience throughout the product development lifecycle, including CAD design/drawing, engineering documentation, structural analysis, environmental testing, and technical presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and assembly structures within SolidWorks PDM system.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings in accordance with engineering standards.
- Assist in generating and maintaining technical documentation, including:
- Design reports
- Test procedures
- Test reports
- Engineering calculations
- Manufacturing and assembly documentation
- Prepare technical presentations for internal design reviews and project meetings.
- Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including systems, manufacturing, electronics, and test engineers.
Type of contract: Part-time position
Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 2727,40 gross per month, based on full-time employment (38.5 hours/week), with a planned overpayment depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
Your profile
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with CAD modelling (SolidWorks)
- Familiarity with Drafting Standards/Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in English
