Job description: Your main responsibility will be to develop and manage the technical product life cycle of an electric propulsion system. This will be conducted by following the agreed internal standards and technical customer requirements:

• Work in close collaboration with the project manager to drive the project to success
• Lead the cross functional technical team and meet agreed milestones
• Ensure the maintenance of the as-specified and as-designed baselines as part of configuration control of the product
• Align internal stakeholders for the development goal like product assurance, industrial engineering and on-orbit support
• Compile and maintain technical documentation according to internal standards, considering ECSS and customer requirements

Who you are: 

• 5+ years of professional experience in the Space Industry with an appropriate academic education
• Profound understanding of space industry standard processes, including product documentation and design standards
• Understanding of physical processes occurring in electric propulsion and plasma devices is desirable
• Proficiency in English is required
• Independent, careful and structured way of working with implementation strength and a hands-on mentality

Type of contract: Full time position; 38.5 hours/week

Salary: This position entails a gross salary according to the collective bargaining agreement (minimum EUR 3.219,17) and may significantly increase based on qualification and experience.
