BREAKING: ENPULSION joined the Net Zero Space Initiative last week! 🌠

Launched at the Forum de Paris sur la Paix last year, the Net Zero Space Initiative is a multi-stakeholder platform calling to achieve sustainable use of outer space by 2030 by taking concrete actions to mitigate the generation of new orbital debris and remediate existing ones. It especially aims at raising awareness at a political level and in the public at large to better protect Earth’s orbital environment and foster interoperable norms in this regard.

🌏 Launched at the Forum de Paris sur la Paix last year, the Net Zero Space Initiative is a multi-stakeholder platform calling to achieve sustainable use of outer space by 2030 by taking concrete actions to mitigate the generation of new orbital debris and remediate existing ones. It especially aims at raising awareness at a political level and in the public at large to better protect Earth’s orbital environment and foster interoperable norms in this regard.

🛰 Considering that almost half of operational satellites were launched in the last three years, proactive action to improve Space Governance and promote Mitigation and Prevention measures at diplomatic level are of great importance. ENPULSION is therefore proud to support this political movement seeking to address the Space Debris issue collaboratively with other like-minded entities sharing the same vision for a more sustainable space industry. 📡

🎇 More specifically, ENPULSION has pledged to:
1/ continue to support satellite operators before and after the launch of their spacecraft and ensure the success of their deployment strategies,
2/ promote sustainable practices for the end-of-life disposal of satellites, especially for constellations,
3/ and proactively support awareness raising activities on Space Sustainability, especially on the issue of space debris, through PR efforts and sharing in-house expertise.
